Claudia Simpson Jones and her brother received the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award during a special ceremony at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. The award is part of the agency’s recognition of safe pilots. To be eligible an applicant must hold an FAA pilot certificate, and have 50 or more years of piloting experience.
Terri Donner has been named to the Kentucky Aviation Hall of Fame for her work in “spearheading an outstanding and innovative program introducing hundreds of young girls to aviation through the Girl Scout Aviation Day in the Louisville area, and a life of achievements for Donner with her support for women as aviation professionals.”
Deborah Lawrie to be inducted to the Australian Aviation Hall of Fame for being a pioneer for women’s rights, for her significant service to aviation for the past 50 years, and to women in the profession.
Karen Kahn receives the FAA’s most prestigious honor, The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award for exhibiting over 50 years of professionalism, skill, and aviation expertise.
Kimberley Lowe received the 2020 Zonta Award for being an exemplary ambassador to females in aviation and her drive to empower women through service and advocacy.

Beverley Bass was Honoree at the 2019 The Points Guy Awards dinner for her pioneering role in aviation.Along with the award, a $50,000 donation was made to The International Society of Women Airline Pilots in her honor.
Angela Masson was inducted to the California Aviation Hall of Fame for her accomplishments in aviation and for being a pioneer and trailblazer for women in aviation.
Bonnie Tiburzi was inducted into the Women in Aviation Hall of Fame for being the first woman to be hired at a major US Airline and for a successful inspirational aviation career.
Emily Howell Warner was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame for her contributions to aviation, including being the first woman hired by a US commercial airline.
