Every year, members of the International Society of Women Airline Pilots (ISA+21) from around the world meet to celebrate their profession and encourage women to progress in their aviation careers. This year the annual conference was held in Reykjavik, Iceland. 90 female airline pilots from 22 airlines and 7 countries attended the annual business meeting decked out in their respective company uniforms. Two charter members were in attendance this year.
Our Tuesday evening kick off dinner was held at the Harpa Concert Hall on the fourth floor at La Primavera. It was an evening of great company, incredible Icelandic food, and amazing views of the water!
The Wednesday morning business meeting was full of great information and summaries of how much the Board has been working this past year! Roll call was taken as members went around the room to introduce themselves, their airline, aircraft type, flight position, domicile and where they live.

The Wednesday evening reception was a dance party to remember! We had the talented DJ Gränz bringing the vibes as we celebrated another amazing conference.
Thursday was a trip to relax and detox at the Blue Lagoon. Our members got to try multiple face masks, sip green juice and cocktails in the lagoon, and enjoy the spa at the property.
The post-conference three-day adventure was one to remember! We experienced all the rugged, gorgeous nature Iceland has to offer. Our group of 60+ members walked behind massive waterfalls, stood up close to icebergs, strolled along black sand beaches, admired breathtaking glaciers, passed countless sheep, and—most importantly—spent time together on one wild adventure. Core memories were made!
